A 36-year-old Johnstown man has been charged with a felony count of possession with intent to deliver marijuana and a handful of misdemeanors.
In charges filed Monday, state police said Anthony B. Elliott of Shady Lane ordered dozens of THC vape cartridges during the summer and fall of 2018.
He would pick up the items after they were delivered via U.S. Postal Service to a Main Street address in Paint Borough.
Police said they obtained a warrant and intercepted a package from Elliott that contained $5,200.
Police said Elliott also acknowledged that friends asked him for the cartridges, but stopped short of saying he sold them. He said “I’m not the (THC vape) kingpin” when questioned.
A Johnstown man is facing charges after police said he fled their custody during a traffic stop.
In addition to the felony count, Elliott has been charged with possession of a controlled substance by a person not registered, possession of a small amount of marijuana for personal use and use/possession of drug paraphernalia.
Elliott’s preliminary hearing date has not yet been set.
