I own a CBD shop and own a a Frenchie so I think I may be able to help with this. There are a lot of studies and evidence to show that CBD not only helps with anxiety but also helps with many other issues that frenchies can have.
There are some really good brands that make CBD dog treats and it’s definitely the easiest option however they are normally a little expensive and if your Frenchie is picky you run the risk of him not liking it. My recommendation would be to buy CBD isolate. Isolate is the purest form of CBD and comes in a powder substance very similar to powdered sugar.
There are a few reasons why I always suggest this for dog owners
1 – it’s is the purest form that CBD can come in
2 – isolate is tasteless and you can mix it with anything oil based or let them eat it raw. This is great if your dog is picky because you can add it to the food they already like or mix it into a treat like peanut butter
3 – because isolate is the purest form it is also extremely strong 1 gram of isolate is 990mg of CBD. Depending on the weight of your dog and the level of it’s anxiety it will take between 5mg and 25mg of CBD per day in most cases. This allows you to get a lot of use out of it and makes it much more affordable than basic treats
We have carry and have sold multiple options of CBD to dog owners and we get amazing feed back on how much it helps the dogs.
