Dam Liquor Store is available to provide adult beverages from beer and liquor to wine from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sundays are from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Located in the Caribou Shopping Center, the business has been open for nearly three decades. Peak Wine and Spirits

Peak Wine and Spirits offers a great selection of craft beer, spirits and wine. New additions are often featured on Facebook. Specialty beers and wines commonly fill the shelves, in addition to sake, whiskey, bourbon and some liquor you won’t find anywhere else. For specials and orders 24/7, visit the website or stop by between 9:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. Sunday hours are from noon to 8 p.m. “We are still requiring masks and social distancing of six feet between customers. We sometimes need to limit the number of customers in the store due to the distancing requirements, so try to come before 4 or after 6 to avoid the wait,” staff wrote in response to recent Covid-19 developments. There are almost always drinks on sale, so be sure to ask or visit the sale section of the website.

Mid-County Liquors

Mid County Liquors serves Gilpin County with a huge selection of wine, beer and liquors. The store features beer specials every Sunday, including seltzer and ciders, for buy one and get a second for one half off. They also have a special 25 percent off for brands of schnapps with recipe ideas of how to use it. Tasting events are ongoing, typically held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturdays. The store offers more than 150 varieties of beer and 180 varieties of wine. The store’s hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Underground Liquor

Underground Liquor is still serving in-store and via drive-through in Black Hawk. Ask about the customer rewards program while you shop a large selection of liquors or check out Christmas gift specials. Underground is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., so plan to be there a little earlier if picking up. Pickle Liquors is located in Base Camp at Golden Gate Canyon. Offering more than just liquor and beer, the store is a convenient stop for groceries, gas, laundry supplies, and more for the camper that forgot one thing at home. Annie Oakley’s Emporium

Annie Oakley’s Emporium continues to serve Central City and the surrounding area. The shop also contains the Bon Fire Dispensary. Groceries are available on the first floor, while the liquor store fills the second landing. The dispensary offers member rewards with the Mile Higher Club, in addition to more specials throughout the establishment. The grocery and liquor store are open from 7 a.m. until 10 p.m., while the dispensary’s hours are from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Growing from a 12,500 square foot facility in Tabernash, the company sells fine green in Nederland, Central City, and beyond. Flower, concentrates, vapor, and edibles are all available online and in-store. Even after the Green Rush, Harvest House continues to provide quality cannabis including flower, sodas, creams, vape cartridges, and even gear to get started. Pickup is available from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Online ordering begins at 11 a.m. and ends at 6:30 p.m. Stop by for pre-rolls and tinctures as well. Kind Castle

The Kind Castle is a recreational cannabis dispensary that opened its doors on July 10, 2020, and is located on Highway 119 in Nederland. The store is the second of its kind, the first of which is located in Parachute, CO, which was recognized in 2019 by Leafbuyer for Best of the Best in the US for their dispensary design.

They pride themselves on a unique variety of products and offer daily specials and discounts to locals and medical card holders. The Locals Discount includes Everyday $25 eighths, $50 quarters, 420 joint specials and daily deals. Additional discounts include a 20% discount for veterans and industry professionals. Medical card holders receive a 15% discount. Discounts do not apply to items already on sale and discounts cannot be stacked. They are open Sunday thru Thursday 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday/Saturday 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Green Grass

Rocky Mountain Organics operates out of Black Hawk and Central City, providing high-class grass that is never pre-packaged. All strains are available to smell, and staff is on-hand to explain or educate anyone about specific products.
